Ages 6 – 12

The Montessori Curriculum for children aged 6 to 12 is split into two sections:

Elementary and Upper Elementary.

Elementary level

Starting from the age of 6, They begin to develop their reasoning abilities. They are capable of posing intricate questions and making conclusions.

Development of cultural knowledge

After mastering the fundamental concepts of History, Geography, Economics, Sociology, Physical Geography, The solar system, Environment, and other cultural subjects, children progress to more complex and captivating cultural themes.

Additionally, they are urged to engage in artistic endeavors and Perform in musical bands.

Mathematics

Children aged 6 to 9 are taught advanced mathematical problem-solving skills through the Montessori curriculum, which utilizes tangible materials to reinforce fundamental mathematical concepts.

The curriculum covers a wide range of mathematical topics, including Cubing, Squaring, Geometry, Algebra, Prime factors, Square roots, and other basic mathematical operations.

In addition to mathematical and linguistic knowledge, the Montessori curriculum also incorporates computer classes and cultural studies.

Language

The Montessori program enhances the linguistic abilities of the child by focusing extensively on

Comprehension, Grammar, Creative writing, and Language fluency.

The Montessori program teaches students about various subjects including History, Language, Culture, Music, Science, Mathematics, and The workings of the universe.

As the student advances, the level of difficulty and intricacy of the subjects increases. The Montessori program also incorporates social and ethical components for children.

Through the Montessori curriculum, children develop into responsible, considerate, and self-aware individuals.

Upper Elementary children:

(9 years to 12 years)

Since the age of 9, the child embarks on a path of intellectual development.

The child inquires, rationalizes, and cultivates a strong fascination with law, justice, and equity. The child eagerly seeks to comprehend the world and its mechanisms.
